INCIDENT UPDATE: 3.45pm - crews have made good progress and incident has been scaled down to 2 pumps. Merseyside Police have reopened Hawthorne Rd and it is no longer necessary to keep doors & windows shut.

The exercise, the second this week, continues for approx 1.5 hrs. Hartley’s Quay is cordoned off to vehicles during the exercise but pedestrian traffic will still be allowed. Thanks to National Museums Liverpool for another opportunity to train at this unique location.

⚠️WEATHER WARNING: WIND⚠️A yellow warning has been issued for strong winds covering all of Merseyside from 5AM Thursday morning to 8PM Thursday evening. Expect strong gusts and possible disruption and delays to travel. Please take extra care if you are out and about.
