This vehicle was sighted at excess speed on the M62, changing lanes without indicating and had illegal front window tints. To make matters worse the driver then failed a drugs wipe for cocaine. #Arrested #FATAL4.

This #Audi was sighted by #RPU driving high speed and overtaking vehicles in Maghull. He provided a positive breath test for alcohol at the roadside and was arrested. He then failed to provide in custody. #ChargedToCourt.

This motorcycle was sighted driving antisocially and pulling wheelies on Everton View. #RPU attended and located the vehicle nearby. Unfortunately the rider was issued with a S.59 warning only 5 days earlier following a similar incident. Motorcycle #seized.

@Armination Section 4 Road Traffic Act, is the offence of driving whilst unfit, which means at that material time the driver is impaired. We do multiple tests to prove this (breathalyser, drug wipe, FIT Test) and for this offence we would prove impairment.

@MerPolTraffic There has to be impairment proved not just under the influence of the person has a prescription for medical cannabis.

When we get asked why we do speed enforcement, this is the reason. Scotland Road, Liverpool - A 30 mph road, late at night surrounded by student accommodation and still people think its acceptable to drive at this speed! This driver can now expect a court appearance! #RoadSafety

This #Fiat Abarth failed to stop for RPU in Speke. It was found abandoned on false plates. It had been stolen and recovered before the owner even knew it was gone!

Following a stop check the driver of this vehicle was found to be driving on a non EU driving license. Unfortunately they had been a resident in the UK for over 12 months which meant this driving license is no longer valid. Driver reported for vehicle #seized.
