I've only commissioned artists from my country, and to be completely honest, I'm so caught up by my own events that i could go weeks and months not remembering that I've commissioned something. So if the artist wishes to not update me, I might end up accidentally giving them free money instead 💀 I'm lucky that I still haven't encountered any bad ones 🙏

If I paid you, you need to deliver and if you can’t, you communicate. Nowadays if I feel like I’m being disrespected of my time and money as a paying client then I simply chargeback after a warning no matter what sob story you give me, I’m sorry but your difficulties were not bought upon by me, my money doesn’t fall from the sky either. Call me mean or whatever but that’s how you protect your money and your peace nowadays 😪
