I’ve seen folks suggest Yan Diomande might be a bigger net+ for us than a striker. Honestly? I lowkey hear it. It’s a combination of the striker market being very weak and Diomande being very special.

I feel like the links with Asllani suggest that the club can’t sign Bastoni and an expensive striker at the same time. As I’ve always said, it’s either a high-cost CB and a low-cost striker, or a low-cost CB and a high-cost striker. And right now, it looks like the board is leaning towards the first option.

Lewis hall is a proper full back while Lewis Skelly is an inverted fullback. Myles Lewis Skelly, you know you’ll get a fullback that likes to drifts and venture into the midfield which is great in attack but when cut on the counter, he might be out of position due to his role of drifting. In Lewis Hall, you have a proper fullback, who stays in his position and operates on the flanks and doesn’t drifts into midfield. Also Lewis hall height helps in aerial duels, great on the ball and press resistant. Both are great players but preferably, Lewis hall has the edge but each signing is dependent on the coach.

Chelsea need a midfielder able to screen a defence, reading of the game is top. Win duels, carry the ball, hard to finding CMs like this that are really technical as well. Ayyoub Bouaddi is that, hope we have him on the shortlist, could be gamechanger.
