MetLife is now a poisonous cheapass operation with no customer phone service. (A barely understandable "dialect" of English spoken on a poor line from a representative in Manila is the best you're going to get.) My calls always end with something like, "You are a kind and knowledgeable employee; go to work for an honorable and ethical company instead of MetLife." Additionally, I always say, "I hope this call is indeed being recorded and that some seven-figure MetLife fatcat cheapskate is actually listening."

@MetLife it seems that I’ve been holding for your critical illness advocate for fifty minutes ( transferred to them) and they’ve been closed for just as long. Prior to that I spoke with a rep, that said there were zero supervisors available, and no way to reach a claims advisor. Very poor customer service. MetLife has been sending requests for information to a doctor that has retired. I need to find out exactly what they need to prove organ necessity considering insurance approved the referral and he was placed on the transplant list.

I'm so frustrated with @MetLife's Davis Vision claims! 😤 My online claim was denied for missing signature, there's no way to sign digitally. Customer service can't even access claims. Absolutely awful! 😠 Never again. 👎 created a ticket to talk to someone else? #CustomerService
