Remember saying post Oxford, Boro have 13/14 top players, but overall a pretty average squad. The drop off when big players are missing still remains way too big. Was it unrealistic to expect the same 13/14 players to continue at the level avoiding injuries and losses in form?

People like Tom think they’re positive fans who are helping the cause, but talking down our squad like this isn’t remotely positive. We have a mid table squad apparently, yet Coventry, Millwall, Hull, Wrexham, Derby and Watford are all in th Top 8 with their squads? 🐂💩

@Project_Boro Your problem started when you thought decent players were top players. The squad is a mid table squad. People got carried away when every player was massively overachieving. We have 3 very good players in HH, Malanda and Mcgree. The rest are playing at their level.

@danielbrundl3 @Smithy_MFC84 Plenty were “moaning” about us need a striker in January. It was a hot topic, and those people were dismissed as moaners. They’ve been totally vindicated.

We’ve had runs, post January, where we’ve banged in a lot of goals. The issue isn’t simply just “we should’ve signed a striker”. Hearing people say that not signing Bamford has killed our season is a joke. #Boro

@Jordwalker19 You do the predictions and find out where that puts everyone at the end, it’s really not that deep. Wouldn’t be any point if people manufactured predictions to have us second. The lads would probably benefit from lower expectations.
