When I read artists trying to blame/quit platforms for their lack of visibility baffles me. The word “over saturation “ is so empty. Some of these artists feel entitled that all the attention should go to them and no one else and then at the same time complain about gatekeeping. It makes no sense at all. No platform should feel obligated to carry you by the hand and deliver you to the promise land as they are only a tool. Lack of effort will take you a dark place that it’s difficult to get out from. Keep your expectations realistic and always learn how to become self reliant here.
