Personal update: I will be stepping down from my role as @MonkeDAO Executive this upcoming term, effective March. It was not the easiest decision, because this organization is full of people I love, care for & enjoy working with. From now on, I'll be cheering the DAO on as a proud member instead while staying on the periphery to lend a hand when needed. I am 100% confident that @jemmmyjemm will continue to lead the team towards excellence. 2 years feels like a very long time in this industry, and I'm proud of what I've built alongside the team. I am incredibly grateful for that DM from Jemmy one fateful day inviting me to join, and for the chance to grow and learn alongside people I respect. I can say with my whole heart that we have come such a long way in that time. We’ve built stronger systems, created more structure across our verticals, while staying lean and taking on as many hats as possible. Being able to see through 2 years of Monkes @ Breakpoint, Solstice, launching our first line of plushies with @EatwithNomu, and pulling off multiple marketing campaigns & partnerships, it was definitely 2 of the most fulfilling years I've had. Forever grateful to the execs beside me in the trenches, and the contributors I've had the privilege to work with: @jemmmyjemm @supersimon77 @moon_settler @Stroll2Stroll @unjustmouse @SOL_HoTsAuCe @maldoio @muggle_ri @cronus_art @bibseebliss @GDamigeana @SMBennyy @devmajesty @GivnerAriel @craig2139 @TheRealGapper and so so many more. I will truly miss working with you guys. So, what's next for me? As of right now, I will have a short break (funemployment!!) and finally take some time to pick up things I've always wanted to learn. Build some good habits as well before stepping into another challenge. I'm also a huge believer in synchronicity, so I'm super excited to see what comes my way and how the future unfolds ✨

i cant even begin to tell you how many times i was jealous of another creators growth. more than i am proud to admit. and every time it happened, my brain found a way to make their growth invalid. they must be paying for engagement. they must be in group chats. their content is braindead. because the alternative was harder to accept. and sure, a lot are cheating but some are not and maybe they understood attention better than me. that is usually what jealousy is protecting you from, it gives you a story where you dont have to look at your own inefficiencies. if they cheated, you dont have to study their hooks. if they got lucky, you dont have to question your consistency. if their audience is dumb, you dont have to admit their content is easier to understand. if the algo picked them, you dont have to ask why people keep replying. i did this for a long time. i thought being better meant eventually people would notice, but content doesnt reward who is secretly better. it rather rewards who can make people stop, feel something, understand fast, and want more. the fix is simple, but annoying. when you feel jealous, dont mute the feeling immediately but rather just observe it and understand where it comes from and then use it as a signal. ask: what are they doing that i keep dismissing? what is obvious in their content that mine is missing? what promise does their profile make in 5 seconds? what format have they repeated so much that people now expect it? you dont need to copy their personality. you need to study the mechanism. jealousy turns toxic when you use it as proof that the game is rigged. it becomes useful when you use it as proof that there is something you have not learned yet.
