My daughter is not asking too much, all she wants from her husband, whom she’s getting married to today is peace of mind and she doesn’t want any co-wife issues in their marriage
She doesn't want her husband to marry another lady
I know I got married to 3 wives but that was then now that I am exposed, I can’t ask any of my wives to leave my house but you know these are our Genz children they don’t want a polygamous lifestyle.
Pls my son-in-law don’t get married to another lady give my daughter peace of mind.
from Alhaji Mc Oluomo during the wedding ceremony of his beloved daughter

@jon_d_doe Don't mind them.
I know a family where a grandma had to stop a younger brother from continuing his site because his elder brother was yet to start. It's a big disagreement then.
English

Please read.
I am wondering where in Nigeria that it's seen as an abomination for a younger brother to marry before the elder brother.
From your story, the elder brother is either not responsible or he doesn't have money.
However, I agree that he should go and inform him that he wants to marry a wife.
I also see a much bigger issue that may arise in the future, due to how their kindred are openly showing lack of regards for the elder brother.
Except there is something your man isn't telling you. If their late father left specific instructions before he died, we can't say.
He should go ahead to inform his brother, but ask him to be careful. He may also choose not to pass the night in his house and lie to him that he has something to do in another state.
I don't like your story.
And I hope your man and his brother will not become silent enemies in the future.
End.

@RecruitmentPq @AskMichaelTaiwo This is the game played by the wealthy.
They master the art of multiplying money.
English

@AskMichaelTaiwo Money is loyal to people who know how to multiply it.
Some people work for salary. Some make salary work for them.
That’s why two people can earn 500k monthly and one is still broke while the other is buying assets quietly.
English

@AskMichaelTaiwo @RecruitmentPq True. Much emphasis was placed on this point, in the book titled " why we want you to be rich"
English

@RecruitmentPq Truly, money works this way. It rewards the multipliers.

@iamnotarealman_ @viktorbensonyt "NEVER getting rich" is good for such person. The life of such human being could be ........
English

@viktorbensonyt Yes, they're right.
Make money first and then join the big league.
If you try to play the big game as a poor man, you might never get rich.

30 years ago when I was in JSS 2/3, some of my classmates and I used to come to this barber's shop to play snooker and table tennis.
Good to see that the barber's shop is still existing.
I had a barber's shop business (2014/2015) that didn't last a year, so it's refreshing to see one that has lasted for 30+ years.

@LawmanFrancis @jon_d_doe Didn't you read clearly from his post? That none of them are on X.
English

Anyways, I am back to base.
The matter eeeh..
I am going to say this because I know none of them is on X.
After all my long talk, there was loud silence.
The eldest amongst us was just looking at me and nodding his head.
Then I ended by saying: "A blind husband is a good husband"
The women then said "eeeh yes, but a blind wife is also a good wife"

Àgbà John Doe@jon_d_doe
I'm in a family meeting where matters that come to my DM every day are being discussed. And this one hits close to home. Now, I am being forced to be 'Àgbà John Doe'. I am facing my own exam, and I have to tell you... I am going crazy because of the things I am hearing. End.

Everyone has goals.
But not everything people say is a goal qualify as a goal. To illustrate simply;
A Goal without Deadline is a Fantasy.
A Goal with a Deadline is an Objective.
Goal with a Deadline and a Plan is an Intention.
Goal with a Deadline, a Plan and Consistent Action is Success.
What level is your goal at?

A 60+ should have had financial investments like bonds, insurance, funds etc. that will be one source of income
A 60+ can have mini cement depots in Nigeria. buy one or two trailers and retail. Easy to track against theft and not so hectic
A 60+ can also sub distribute Semolina, Indomie & other related foods that don't need electricity to store and don't need much running cost. small margins but consistent. Can compound into something solid
A 60+ can or should have built some houses for rent. Or better still, shops for rent in any neighborhood around the country
There are still many things a 60+ can do to maintain good income till they turn 90 and pass on

True. Most times not necessarily the 100th or 101st but the willingness to forge ahead.

A couple in my area ran a joint account for 11 years.
The wife sold foodstuff in Mile 12 market.
The husband drove Bolt from 7AM till 8PM.
Some weekend outing, both of them still entered danfo to save fuel money.
People laughed at them constantly with all kind of unkind words like why are married people behaving like broke roommates?
Enjoy life now before old age.
Na only one life una get o.
Meanwhile, every month as a couple they did this:
₦150k from the wife.
₦220k–₦350k from the husband.
Extra savings during December rush.
No designer competition.
No secret spending.
No pressure to impress neighbours wey get their own personal problems.
Last month, they quietly paid ₦38M cash for a block of mini apartments around Ibeju-Lekki.
Most couples don’t fail because they earn too little. They fail because one person is secretly trying to look richer than the other.
In many homes today, one person is building while the other is performing for Instagram.
A joint account is dangerous when there is no trust.
But when two disciplined people face one direction financially, it can change an entire bloodline.
Would you ever open a joint account with your partner?
