My neighbour’s daughter (12) is dating and drinking alcohol 🥺💔 My neighbour came to my house this morning crying that her daughter has got older friends and they taught her all these things. She doesn’t even sleep at home sometimes. I advised her to go to Police and social workers and seek help, because that is a CHILD! 💔 I don’t know if I should also advise to take her to the clinic for prevention. Kindly advise 🥺

I met with my former boss the other day. Me and her last saw each other 21 years ago. She left the City of Joburg a year before me. We thought we were meeting for brunch, but we ended up spending the whole afternoon as well, me accompanying her on her errands. She happens to have a good memory, far better than me. What humbled me to the core of my being, is how she remembers everything about me, my daughter's month of birth, my cousin's names and where they live, the name of the lady who was my friend and neughbour at the time, the death of that lady's son and how she came to give condolences, all the intimate details about my life. I was so pleasantly surprised. Moral of the story, be kind to people at work, especially if you are senior to them. Ironically, she was telling me about a boss from hell she encountered in her next job, a female who made life a misery for every other female who reported to her, causing them to resign from the company, one after the other. What a humbling, beautiful experience I have had this week. 😊❤️
