A few days late on posting this (I'm behind, shocking I know) but great work by @ddeanjohnson. A fake/forged document apparently made it into the original UFO Files release last week then it was later removed. Question is, why was it there in the first place? See 🔽

@ddeanjohnson @Zazeronofshadow @theblackvault @MvonRen If @MvonRen said he actually saw that document on the site when it was still live then that’s different. He had just posted it, then deleted his post. Making me assume he had been tricked by a fake url

@ddeanjohnson @Zazeronofshadow @theblackvault First I saw of it was Marik reposting it after it was already “deleted”, can’t find anyone talking about it before it was deleted. Would you find it shocking if it was actually never a part of the release and someone made it up and posted a made up link to something made up?

@Metronome49 @Zazeronofshadow @theblackvault Because a trusted researcher downloaded it from that URL, and then promptly shared it and the URL with at least one other trusted researcher. Do you find it shocking to hear that sometimes hoax-junk finds its way into classified government files?

DoD continues to offer many direct PDF downloads of UFO-related documents, posted May 8, 2026, using the exact same path structure [war. gov/medialink/ufo/release_1/] as the deleted fake document.
