In British English (which is what someone from the UK would naturally use), the noun is spelled licence (with a "c"), while the verb is license (with an "s"). So: "I have a driving licence." (noun – correct in the UK) "The council will license the premises." (verb – same on both sides of the Atlantic) In American English, it's license for both the noun and the verb. That's why many Americans see "licence" and assume it's a misspelling of their version – they don't realise it's the standard British noun form. @EduardHabsburg Yes, it does. Under Orban Hungarians are seriously deprived of their right to a fair election. If he looses, that is the start of restoring democracy in HU. The first step in a very difficult journey to undo 16+ yrs or control and serious mismanagement.

About the 🇭🇺 Hungarian election: If one side wins, the media will see it as a "triumph of democracy". If the other side, it will be "cheating and Russian influence". Think about this narrative, and whether it respects the dignity of the Hungarian voters.
