I’m saying the system is one-dimensional because it’s highly limiting as to the roles of each individual player, because the approach is rooting in minimizing variance which isn’t a high ceiling approach at all. It makes no sense flipping the script, he just ran out of ideas how to progress the system because he’s not that intelligent from my perception.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 Triggered? I'm not even an Arsenal fan. Like I said before, you're allowed to rate and not rate anybody you want. It doesn't stop them from being recognized in the grand scheme of things.

You’re so triggered for literally no reason at all 🤣🤣. You thought I had some personal vendetta on Arteta lmfao, and dodged the bullets on the players he’s clearly regressed, not to mention the likes of Nwaneri and Balogun. Saliba too has massively regressed. As for Simone: Villa, Griezmann, Falcao, Costa, Alvarez all performed the best in their respective careers under him. If you’re referencing Joao Felix as someone who flopped under him, that’s hilarious.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 You previously called him "one dimensional", and now you're criticizing him for trying something different by signing Rice? Desn't hurt to try something different now and then. You're allowed to criticize Arteta if he still sticks to defensive football after winning the league.

“Dominate” is a stretch. They’ve never won anything up until last season due to shitty CFG recruitment, Rodri’s injury and no other reputable competitors. Arteta CHOOSE to spend money on Rice who fundamentally altered the style of his team further away from dominating. That’s on him. I also am fairly confident given the same share of resources and time commitment Arteta was brought at Arsenal the 5 other coaches I listed ahead of him would have been more successful, being conservative too.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 Attackers Simeone has improved vs Attackers Simeone has ruined - go! Fair enough. You don't have to rate everybody and it's okay.

@Mezilini @Khanyy_10 Simeone is well renowned for platforming his attackers exceptionally well? It’s not about me personally “disliking” Arteta or anything, I just don’t rate him.

Genuine question where are Argentina getting all this energy from? Messi is 40 years old and he's played every minute of the knockouts every few days including two extra times and he's still had the energy to keep going at the very end of every single one of those matches.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 Are you trying to pretend like you didn't watch Arsenal before 2 seasons ago? Come on, we saw Arsenal dominate teams in the league consistently. The defensive football started 2 seasons ago because of how desperate they became to win the league. Arteta can switch things up.

@Mezilini @Khanyy_10 He’s like a less charismatic and authoritative Simeone. Pseudo-JDP emphasis on defensive dominance. Simeone platforms his attackers a lot better too because he isn’t so positional IP.

@Mezilini @Khanyy_10 Sure but does it matter? Just rank them overall in terms of system dominance and player development cause they’re the two which count. Achievements over a larger sample of an entire career should align.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 You say players regress under Arteta? He made Saka one of the best RWs, gave Martinelli a 15 goal PL season, Havertz is still relevant thanks to him, Rice is overrated thanks to him, changed Gabriel's life, turned Saliba to a top 3 CB, Raya is in Gk discussions, etc

@Mezilini @Khanyy_10 Iraola has a better system than Maresca’s btw. He’s on a similar level to Carrick tactically but not as good at player development, which is a real low for Maresca because players tend to regress under his coaching, like Arteta’s.

@IsolatedPlay_ @Khanyy_10 I purposely stated "achievements and experience wise" because I knew it'd be different tactical and player development wise, etc. Check my other comments.
