It was an honor to attend “An Evening with the Black Judges” at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in celebration of BHM. This powerful program highlighted the lasting impact and leadership of Black judges in our community. Thank you to the BHM Committee at Miami Dade College for hosting.

Today, we remember 4 brave men etched in Miami’s heart: Armando Alejandro Jr., Mario de la Peña, Carlos Costa & Pablo Morales. 30 years ago they flew a humanitarian mission and never returned. Their sacrifice lives on in our Cuban exile community. Freedom is never free.
