@Mic_nz @Taiwo_junzi Even if you say no, when it becomes inconvenient, you will still end up losing the most, & you may lose them in the end because the main reason they keep you around is for money. Many Nigerian girls can't offer anything else than.... which is why most men do not keep them around.

One day, men will learn to have multiple women in their lives without actually dating them. Instead of actually double-dating, learn how to โ€œletโ€™s see how it goesโ€ โ€œI donโ€™t like this phase I am in now, so I canโ€™t date but I really do love/want youโ€. That way, no woman will accuse of cheating or come to say you broke her heart.

With respect, @egi_nupe, your position does not reflect the legal and operational reality of the DRR programme. The DRR programme does not bypass justice or undermine kinetic operations. It is a structured process grounded in law, including International Humanitarian Law, particularly Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions, which provides for the humane treatment of persons who are no longer actively participating in hostilities. Every individual admitted into the programme has undergone due judicial process and is recommended by the courts, with the Federal Ministry of Justice determining eligibility based on those legal outcomes, not the military. These individuals, as determined by the courts and the FMOJ, are typically low risk persons, many of whom were abducted, coerced, or forced into involvement under threat to their lives. Within insurgent settings, they often served in non combat or support roles such as logistics, medical assistance, farming, or other auxiliary functions. Core ideologues, commanders, and individuals responsible for grave offences are prosecuted and sentenced, not routed through reintegration pathways. As a lawyer, you should be aware that thousands of terrorism related offenders are currently undergoing prosecution or serving custodial sentences. Most recently, over 1,000 terrorism related cases were recently brought before the courts, with several hundred convictions secured, demonstrating that justice and accountability remain central to Nigeriaโ€™s approach. Given this, it is essential to understand that public commentary, particularly from members of the legal profession such as yourself, carries significant weight. Assertions that the programme is devoid of justice should be grounded in facts and sound legal reasoning, not assumptions or sentiment.
Foundational Nupe Lawyer@egi_nupe

Northerners must stand against the rehabilitation and reintegration of terrorists. If they want to live in peace. I donโ€™t even want to imagine seeing someone who once kidnapped and killed my people be reintegrated back to the society, without serving jail term or anything.

@Taiwo_junzi Most men would like this, but Nigerian women will kill you with billing and begy begy which is one reason most men do not like to keep many women around them, because the billing demands will drain them. So men have more to lose being in the friendzone..

NPF EXTRADITES FUGITIVE TO UK FOR MURDER AND DRUG TRAFFICKING, IGP DISU REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GLOBAL COLLABORATION The Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, has successfully facilitated the extradition of one Matthew Chukwuemeka Adebiyi to the United Kingdom to face charges bordering on murder and drug trafficking. The extradition followed a formal request by United Kingdom authorities in September 2024 to locate, arrest, and extradite the fugitive over his alleged involvement in the murder of one Joshua Boadu on 18th June 2018, after which he fled to Nigeria to evade arrest. He was also alleged to have been involved in the supply of crack cocaine, a Class-A controlled drug, between October 2017 and March 2018 in the United Kingdom. The suspect was arrested on 23rd January 2025 by operatives of the INTERPOL NCB Abuja, following which extradition proceedings were initiated at the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, in Suit No. FHC/L/CS/416/2025. On 16th February 2026, Honourable Justice A.O. Faji granted the application for his extradition in accordance with the Extradition Act, Cap E25, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. Pursuant to the court order and the execution of a surrender warrant by the relevant Nigerian authorities, the fugitive was formally handed over to United Kingdom law enforcement officials on 14th April 2026 at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, for diligent prosecution. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, reiterates the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthening international police cooperation and ensuring that Nigeria does not serve as a safe haven for fugitives. Operation SAFE CORRIDOR
Operation SAFE CORRIDOR@Op_SAFECORRIDORยท
Point of Clarification Operation SAFE CORRIDOR today graduated 627 clients, comprising low risk individuals associated with terrorist and criminal groups across Nigeria who have successfully completed the Federal Government led De radicalization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (DRR) programme, and not โ€œrepentant terrorists.โ€ These individuals voluntarily surrendered or were processed through appropriate channels following arrest during military operations. The programme is not an act of leniency, but a structured national security tool designed to manage low risk individuals (persons who were abducted and coerced into joining the group, forcefully conscripted or unrelated victims of crime and circumstances) in line with International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and the Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC), to which Nigeria is a signatory. In particular, the humane treatment of persons who are hors de combat is guided by Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions, which mandates dignity, protection, and due process. Similar DRR frameworks are implemented globally in countries such as Colombia, Northern Ireland, Rwanda, Liberia, etc as well as within United Nations supported peace operations. Beyond its humanitarian and legal basis, the DRR programme also directly supports ongoing kinetic operations by creating credible pathways for defection and surrender from the battlefield. This has contributed to reducing the number of active fighters, weakening insurgent structures, and enhancing intelligence gathering. While public emotions around reintegration may be understandably high, adherence to IHL obligations remains essential, and the DRR programme is a critical component of Nigeriaโ€™s comprehensive approach to conflict resolution.

ARMY STRIKES IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLDS, RECOVERS EXPLOSIVE, RANSOM FUNDS Troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) under Operation EASTERN SANITY have intensified offensive operations across the South-East, decisively overrunning IPOB/ESN strongholds and pushing the criminal elements into disarray. Relentless pressure mounted by the troops, backed by superior firepower, intelligence and joint-force synergy, has continued to expose the groupโ€™s weakening structure and inability to withstand sustained military action. On 14 April 2026, joint troops of Sector 1, supported by the Air Component of Operation UDO KA, launched a precision strike and clearance operation in Ajali Forest, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The offensive forced IPOB/ESN elements into a chaotic retreat, abandoning critical assets, including an anti-tank Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The failed attempt to deploy the device underscores the groupโ€™s desperation and declining operational competence. The IED was safely secured by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Security team, averting potential harm to troops and civilians. Troops have since established firm dominance over the general area, sustaining aggressive clearance operations and systematically dismantling all terrorist infrastructure. The deliberate destruction of hideouts using chainsaws and bulldozers has stripped the criminals of cover, leaving them exposed, scattered and unable to regroup or mount any meaningful resistance. In a related intelligence-driven operation on the same day, troops of 82 Division Garrison deployed at Adani in Uzo-Uwani LGA, acting on credible intelligence from the Department of State Services, tracked and intercepted ransom proceeds linked to a kidnapping syndicate. The swift raid led to the arrest of a notorious kidnap suspect, further exposing the groupโ€™s reliance on criminality to sustain its collapsing network. Exploitation of the area led to the recovery of a pump-action rifle and the sum of Two Million Naira (โ‚ฆ2,000,000), Cash believed to be ransom funds, from the suspectโ€™s residence. The suspect and recovered items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, for a through investigation to track other members of the criminal gang. The operation further degraded the IPOB/ESNโ€™s operational and financial capacity. These outcomes further demonstrate that IPOB/ESN elements are steadily losing ground, resources and cohesion under sustained military pressure. The Nigerian Army remains unrelenting and fully committed to annihilating all criminal and insurgent elements, denying them any sanctuary. The NA further assures law-abiding citizens of its unwavering resolve to protect lives and property and urges continued public support as operations intensify to restore enduring peace and stability across the South-East.

OPERATION HADIN KAI DEBUNKS FALSE CLAIMS ON BENISHEIKH INCIDENT, REAFFIRMS PROFESSIONALISM AND OPERATIONAL SUPERIORITY The Headquarters Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has noted with serious concern the circulation of false, misleading and highly exaggerated reports across some television stations and social media platforms following the recent foiled terrorist attack on troopsโ€™ location in Benisheikh. These narratives, often amplified with unrelated pictures and videos, are not only inaccurate but constitute a deliberate attempt to distort facts, undermine ongoing military operations and erode public confidence. OPHK categorically refutes the claim that 17 soldiers, including a Brigade Commander, lost their lives during the incident. The official and verified report, as earlier released through Defence Headquarters, clearly stated that 2 officers and 2 soldiers paid the supreme price in the course of the engagement. Any contrary figure being circulated is entirely false, misleading, and devoid of credibility. The insinuation that the Brigade Commanderโ€™s vehicle was unserviceable is equally incorrect. The Commander was mounted on a high-grade Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, which was temporarily immobilised in the heat of combat while he was actively coordinating the counter-assault. This reflects the intensity of the engagement and the presence of leadership at the decisive point, not any equipment failure. Furthermore, the pictures and videos being circulated in connection with the incident are unrelated to the Benisheikh attack and are being deliberately misrepresented to reinforce false narratives. The public is urged to disregard such content, which is clearly intended to misinform and create unnecessary panic. The Nigerian military strongly frowns at the distortion of operational facts and the use of such unfortunate incident for personal/political gains or propaganda. Such actions not only mislead the public but also diminish the sacrifices, courage, and professionalism of officers and men who continue to risk their lives daily in the defence of the nation. The Armed Forces of Nigeria remains professional and committed solely to their constitutional mandate. It is pertinent to reiterate that troops of Operation HADIN KAI successfully repelled the attack, maintained control of their location, and forced the terrorists into a disorganised retreat. The failed assault underscores the sustained pressure on terrorist elements and the growing combat effectiveness of troops across the Theatre. The military remains the only credible source of verified information on its operations and will continue to provide timely and accurate updates through official channels. Members of the public are therefore advised to rely on such sources and refrain from spreading unverified information.
