My 4.5 year old has his first “play day” at the golf course today. 9 holes. Tees off from 25 yards out. Keeping score. Ball in cup. I’m so nervous for him. I’ll be on his bag. I’ve got gummy bears and animal crackers locked and loaded no matter how it goes 😂

The Nuggets are in a tough spot. Aaron Gordon hasn’t been durable. Christian Braun has a bad contract. Cam Johnson is a shrinking violet. Tim Hardaway isn’t a playoff player. Peyton Watson is a free agent. David Adelman isn’t the leader that Michael Malone was. They have limited assets: No young players with value, the 26th pick this year, and pick swaps. That’s really it. Jamal Murray had the best regular season of his career and Nikola Jokic received MVP votes. But they were both so bad during the playoffs. Jokic and Murray falling short in the playoffs again, plus the lack of impactful moves that can be made to improve the roster, naturally has to raise serious questions about how open the contention window really is for Denver.

Disappointed my guy @DanPatrick diminished SGA’s credentials this morn when promoting Wemby. Repeatedly said SGA “scores 20 a game” - actually 31+. Said he didn’t “know if SGA played defense” - he’s fantastic on D. And DP said more. Wemby is scary special. But Dan … it’s not like you to be so off putting about such an elite+ player, leader, champion, person. Wemby will win his share of MVPs & titles .. as I tweeted yesterday.
