My flight is on August 16, and I’ve spent the last four days digging into the APPR guidelines. I found this on Air Canada’s website: if they cancel your flight, they must rebook you within 48 hours. Do not accept a refund—let them rebook you instead. #AirCanada #strike #Canada

Our route if it helps, haven’t made it home but hopefully soon, was: Train from Prague to Frankfurt. Singapore airlines Frankfurt to New York. Rented a car and drove to Buffalo.

@gerorgefox @CTVNews @AirCanada @globalnewsto @CBCNews One thing to think about is that while Canadian rules don’t really help us out if you are travelling from an EU country you are protected under their passenger rights rules that seem much better. Doesn’t help now but maybe later.

@gerorgefox @CTVNews @AirCanada @globalnewsto @CBCNews Unfortunately no good news. Soon after the cancellation we had a note from AC saying that they couldn’t rebook us. We never heard anything after (that was three days ago). Have tried contacting them numerous times with no success. We’ve slowly been making our way home on our own!

@CTVNews We were due to fly home today from Prague to Toronto. Air Canada cancelled our flight and said they can’t rebook our itinerary so we can either get a refund or contact them to rebook for a different day. Only problem when we try to contact them we can’t get through.

@AirCanada We are family of 5 who were due to fly home tomorrow from Prague to YYZ. Just received notification that our flight was cancelled. What do we do now? When will we know if our flight is rebooked … should we be finding a hotel for our us and our kids for another night?

Has anyone recently purchased a 400 series Gaggenau cooktop? We were supposed to get the the Thermador Freedom but because of the long wait we are now being offered the Gaggenau CX492611. Not sure I trust this “great” deal though?

@NespressoCA I purchased my first machine from you over 10 years ago. Finally upgraded to a new machine in April with a $50 off my next three orders but didn’t realize that there was an end date to redeem and was just told there is nothing that can be done. Pretty crappy service!
