No pause for basic scrutiny. Ask yourself thus; Would someone of that professional standing realistically be operating a social media account in that manner, changing usernames multiple times in a short span? Or is it more consistent with how parody or burner accounts behave? This isn’t about defending any individual. It’s about intellectual discipline. If we want to be taken seriously, especially as young Nigerians, we must develop the habit of questioning information before amplifying it. The truth, any number linked to your BVN is already an automatic Opay account number. Whether you've open an Opay account or not, once you input the number, it'll bring your details. And the funniest is, as soon as this happens, Opay will automatically call the line reminding you to activate your account if you don't have one yet. It's a big flaw and I've been asking why Opay got such access to our BVN database.
