I remember when the TOC moved to Kapalua in 99. Still living in the Chicago area, it was magical watching the pros play in January Hawaiian splendor. I got to play the course myself in 2015. Was one of the few tournaments I actually watched. RIP

@MidwestGolfJake @DevonDembinski I would suggest Matthew Wolff. NCAA Champ who just collapsed. Charles Howell III (Thurstom to his friends) made over 600 starts on the PGA tour, amazing accomplishment (maybe 50 golfers have more in history of the game) Longevity is a huge accomplishment on Tour

@KipHenley Totally agree. If you do the math and assume 20 second cycle time per shot (approach, address, swing, see), it equates to 1.3m seconds, 21,000 minutes, 361 hours. If you hit balls for 8 hours a day (insane) you’d only be at 240 hours for a month

I will go off the board for a Hunerd bucks and say, NO HUMAN HAS EVER HIT 65,000 BALLS IN A MONTH EVER. Just for reference! Those big yellow buckets we all saw when we were younger. They hold 275 if they are filled to the brim. You almost don’t have time to hit 10 of those in a day. If you did, I promise you ain’t doing it the 2nd day and D sure ain’t doing it 30 days in a row.

The #Giants’ situation with All-Pro DT Dexter Lawrence is not in a good place and has not been for a while. While money is a big part of it, another element is that Lawrence has seen many players leave the organization over the years. He’s stayed quiet, been a good soldier, and tried to be a team guy. So when it became clear last year that he had outplayed his contract and it was time for a new deal, the organization not taking it so seriously felt like a slap in the face. That has continued this offseason. In the words of one source: “He understands what those players who were shown the door by the Giants felt.”

Last week David Axelrod, Obama's former senior advisor and a longtime Democrat strategist met with Pope Leo XIV. Days later, Pope Leo is attacking Trump and three cardinals appeared on 60 Minutes to attack the president. I don't believe in coincidences. This is nothing more than a coordinated attack on the president of the United States by the Vatican. And quite frankly, it is both distasteful and unChristian.
