@EverydaySens He started off physical with the fight. Playing physical can take a toll on the hitter too. Need the whole team (or most of it) to be playing physical to be successful, can’t just be one player. Ott outhit them 3 out of 4 but it didn’t seem to bother the Canes much.

The question I'm left with is where was this Brady Tkachuk all series? 0 points and -3 is one thing, but this type of physical dominance is what he needed to do from game one. Said it all year... we know how game-changing he can be when he wants to be (see the game vs NYI as well). Just odd.

No matter what happens the rest of the way, it’s so obvious that this team needs a legit sniper. Someone who can pot 30-40. They rarely ever just get easy goals, it’s always a grind

Awesome game, but genuinely believe offside should have an expiry, like goalie interference. If we can say “goalie had enough time to reset” after some bumps, can’t we say “defence had enough time to reset” 10 seconds after an entry? 15?

@DavidsonDo40325 @jtbourne The offside was on Staal, he crossed the line backwards with the puck, refs ruled he had possession but not control so they deemed he put himself offside.

Carolina scores in overtime, but it's reviewed and deemed offside. #GoSensGo They go back and give Martinook a penalty shot for the hook... which never would've happened because the play was offside. Makes no sense.

@mikecommito Spezza did everything right on that play, didn’t take a penalty, kept him to the outside, didn’t let him get to the front of the net, left Sid with the only option to dump it back to the d and a fluke seeing eye shot found its way in.
