Your kids look like they wonder why they are getting a “retro ps5l” when they have no idea what a ps1 is. They look like they are wondering why they have a bunch of new crap video games when all they wanted was for mom and dad to get back together so they didn’t have to go through childhood alone and abandoned. Frankly, they look like they are being held hostage at gunpoint. Forced to smile and be told they should be happy Because of things, when all the want is a happy family. # bring back wooden toys and happily married families.

Lazy is almost all of them. The crazy ones normally get that way after first being lazy and then getting into drugs. The rare expectations are so rare that it isn’t even worth mentioning in a discussion about American homelessness. We live in the wealthiest nation in all of history. People can be relatively poor and need help in ways, but straight up homelessness is almost always a spiritual issue, usually many that combine over time and by the time they are crazy they are very likely not coming back.

@MichaelAddi4x7 @CJetty26 @PlisskenPatriot I meant bc drug abuse is the primary cause of modern homelessness whereas poor couldn’t afford intoxication back then. A lot of homeless are also crazy, who wouldn’t have lived to that age or would’ve been presumed to be possessed. Just lazy is only some of them.

It is relevant in principle. Today’s homeless are the refuse to work kind. A lot of biblical understanding is taking explicit principles and applying them to other aspects of life. For instance, the bible never says to not do meth or smack but from biblical principles of sobriety we can deduce as much. It doesn’t have to detail every example of a thing in life it would be a million pages long
