If you want an enthralling, visceral read of accounts of persons during WWII, check out Studs Terkel's 1984 book 'The Good War' #JCUHons

Interesting points made by Lupton, Mewbern, and Thomson (2018). The influence of the MOOC teaching structure was certainly apparent in my Bachelor of New Media Arts. #JCUHons

McNiff (1998) speaks at length about one of the discussion topics of todays class in his book 'Art-based research'. It's currently checked in at Cairns campus if anyone is interested. #JCUHons

Kouvaros (2017) makes a positive argument regarding the amalgamation of film studies into a broader, new media pedagogy. He proposes that the combination of film, photography, writing, and other studies observed by many tertiary institutions benefits students. #JCUHons

Is everyone only looking at publishing in journals or is anyone looking at academic magazines at all? #jcuhons

Errante (2000) discusses many topics which are relevant to my creative project as well as my article, such as the ‘voice’ of film. In my article, I discuss four types of ‘voice’ in documentary, and how these work together in a tiered hierarchy. #JCUhons

@MichaelAgius_ A valid point Michael for documentary, however isn't there always some subjectivity in the way you build the narrative and present the stories?

The matter of Objectivity is closely related to my creative output. It would be rather easy to skew the narrative of my collaborative documentary in the interest of favouring audience impact. Rather, I am aiming to present these stories in a non-biased, authentic form. #JCUhons

I was unable to study music in high school simply because not enough people were interested in it so I had to learn externally. And now the creative arts degree is being cut at uni. The idea of education for profit by Nussbaum is an issue that has constantly effected me. #JCUhons

"Education for economic growth", an intriguing yet devastating concept for the arts and humanities sectors, coined by M Nussbaum in her 2010 book "Not For Profit: Why Democracy Needs the Humanities". This very concept has directly affected my studies - just ask me in class!
