@Rev_RichTea I agree Richard that all in ministry should seek to pioneer, but maybe for some, a bit like ordained ministry in the church, this is a particular calling and focus. Thanks for all the other top tips! I enjoyed reading them and your reflection is helpful.

Hey @trinity_bristol anyone recommend a good book of theological interpretation for my Curacy? I was thinking Vanhoozer.

Don’t project life’s fears far in the future with forecasted terror. Just show up everyday, give it your best, and let God unfold life for you. Giving up control of how things must go is liberating. You have enough grace for twenty-four hours and that’s all you need.

@jamesellin Are you sure it's the print and not the nature of what you're reading James? When I am reading theological stuff it takes me ages because I have to keep using the oxford dictionary for every other word (slight, but only slight exaggeration)

@JamiePDavies Hilarious. Don't lose your sense of humour Jamie. It gets you and your students through the day.

@AltonPrior @CurateDurrant Is there such a thing as monastic PJs that could extend into the day?
Salisbury, England 🇬🇧 English

@CurateDurrant Try an unforgiving man-made fibre monastic habit in this unhappy weather, and then we'll talk about temperatures.

@NedLunn But maybe also to reflect the indwelt presence of Christ to others? I think we can still do that in lockdown....

@mthr_alice Hi Alice, can you clarify what you are referring to here? I think I may have missed some of the thread. Thanks

Can we learn anything from the 8th Century BC prophet Amos about our Corona inflicted world of today? Well, I think we can. Here is one reflection spun off my @trinity_bristol Biblical Studies assignment....
