Following the completion of an initial examination regarding a photograph published earlier today of an IDF soldier harming a Christian symbol, it was determined that the photograph depicts an IDF soldier operating in southern Lebanon. The IDF views the incident with great severity and emphasizes that the soldier’s conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops. The incident is being investigated by the Northern Command and is currently being addressed through the chain of command. Appropriate measures will be taken against those involved in accordance with the findings. Furthermore, the IDF is working to assist the community in restoring the statue to its place. The IDF is operating to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and has no intention of harming civilian infrastructure, including religious buildings or religious symbols.

You folk saying it works great for you either have a secret unicorn version or have very low standards. 45 in 50 drifted into parking lane 50 in 80 95 in 100 95 in 80 Hugging left constantly, riding the rumble strip, almost off the road completely Changing lane too soon after over take Late to give way to merging traffic changed from 100 to 70 no sign Changed speed to 100 when sign says 110 (10 times), also when no sign - just random change Cut right in front of a car after overtaking, even when red warning flashing 80 to 110 zone, stayed on 80 but recognized 110 as 100 Merging lane, waits till lane is gone before merging Sticking to 60 in 80 stuck on 60 in 100 40 in school zone on a Sunday! Pissed off multiple drivers! All the same issues I experienced back in Oct when I first tried. 0% improvement.

The flag, soldiers, fighter jets, fireworks, and the Statue of Liberty place the scene firmly in a national, not biblical, context. And if this were meant to portray Jesus Christ, you’d expect the defining markers— crown of thorns, crucifixion imagery, stigmata. None of that is here. Even the act of healing isn’t uniquely Christ-like in art— it’s a broader symbol of leadership, intervention, or restoration in times of crisis. Political figures have long been depicted in elevated, almost mythic ways using this same visual language. At the end of the day, this is just political imagery using a familiar, almost sacred visual style to frame a leader as a symbol of strength and restoration. You can like it or not— but calling it a literal depiction of Jesus Christ is a stretch.

Honestly, when I saw this picture of Trump I didn't think of Jesus at all. He looks more like an apostle is healing sick people. I'm a very strong born-again Christian. I wasn't even remotely offended. 99% of the people who were offended by this hated Trump anyway.
