Laundry in the Province. If you’re new here, you might not realize I’m a small part Filipina (by bloodline, not by culture). Last fall, as part of my Korea trip, I visited my Filipino family in the province. They still wash their clothes by hand. Washing machines are common in cities like Cebu or Manila. I never would have thought to use a washing machine without running water, but it makes sense. The Filipino lady in the video (Nicole Fortuna) is a transplant from England, and she has a series about her journey and the changes she has experienced.
