Two things that are disappointing:
- The weather is horrible
- The horrible weather is threatening a ludicrously rare chance for England Women to play at Lord’s
For context, this was due to be just the second ODI played here by the national women’s side in EIGHT years.

Just the eight minutes for that drinks break, as the umpires make a song and dance of looking at a box of used balls. As Ward and Shastri point out on Sky, the process should have begun at the start of the drinks break, not halfway through it. Utterly rudderless.
