@KellanMccauley @hannahbggg No Kellan. It’s not how you describe it. The 35 % is deducted/paid by the tour/organizer in each country. You will receive the winnings minus tax if you are a foreigner. Then you can use that paid tax when you file your tax return in your home country.

@hannahbggg Again, not sure you do. If you spent $3,672, you need to make $3,672 in winnings to break-even. Once you make more than that... you have profit. You are taxed on profit. Even if you only make $1 in profit, you have tax, but you're still in the positive. Break-even doesn't change

@flushingitgolf If you are that driven to succeed in majors you don’t leave the path to get into the majors…easy.

That quote is not funny, it’s actually really fucking sad. Joaco Niemann is very clearly one of the best players in the world. He’s also highly driven. The fact he’s not in all 4 majors is a travesty for golf. Everyone should want the best players showcased in the majors, EVERYONE. It’s not about what tour they play on, or “taking the money”, or “knowing the consequences”, it’s about the BEST VERSUS THE BEST. Something needs to happen and it needs to happen fast, for the good of the sport.

‘I want to win Majors, but I gotta get in first!’ 🤣 @joaconiemann reacts to his huge putt in the DARK to win on the 4th playoff hole in Mayakoba 👏 #LIVGolf @TorqueGC_

@NUCLRGOLF @OWGRltd I thought the champions tour didn’t have a cut and only play 54 holes and get OWGR points or am I missing something. What about the Dunhill last week wasn’t it shortened to 54 holes and no cut? Did the players not get OWGR points? Hmm

🚨❌😲 #BREAKING: LIV Golf will NOT receive @OWGRltd points says Peter Dawson, Chairman of the OWGR board: “We are not at war with them… This decision not to make them eligible is not political. It is entirely technical. LIV players are self-evidently good enough to be ranked. They’re just not playing in a format where they can be ranked equitably with the other 24 tours and thousands of players trying to compete on them.” 👀 (via: @APNews)

@MichaelJonzon @MattP1Gallagher There are loads of gravel run offs on MotoGP tracks. A few more won’t hurt but will help F1 to not be a shambles

@MattP1Gallagher It would be just as fair to bin the track limits entirely - then the playing field is level and we don’t have this crap. OR - gravel traps in the run off

@SteveEnglishGP I thought the stewards was fairly consistent in the penalties. The question is if the rules are to harsh now. Teams are partly to blame as they shout for penalties for everything nowdays. Riders will not dare to overtake and fans lose interest is the risk..

Oh dear. Just saw an email from IRTA to the teams apologising for the 'filthy conditions' and 'low level of preparation' that the circuit seems to be in. They've been told to 'manage the situation as best you can.'

@NCuth66 @denkmit @motomatters If it would be a maintenance issue for the track there should be a plan that starts 6-12 months prior to the race week making visits several to make sure conditions is up to standard. Surprised if this is not the case already.

@denkmit @MichaelJonzon @motomatters Wasn’t there a Dorna/MotoGP programme last year showing what happens at every round 🤔 I’m sure a team rocked up a couple weeks before the round to check everything is in place. Would this be the same team that’s checked the circuit thus this email has been sent out ?

If you watch the Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek, you’ll know this iconic view from the 13th green. Normally a few rivulets during tournament week, massive rains have left the Crocodile River in flood. 👀

Harry Kane is one of the greatest penalty takers I’ve ever seen. That, right there, is the pressure of elite sport. Brutal.
