New Campbell coach John Andrzejek is hiring Anthony Lorenzo from UC Riverside as an assistant coach, source told @TheFieldOf68. Lorenzo has been a part of four program transformations at the University of San Francisco, Washington State, Utah State and UC Riverside.

Campbell is expected to hire Florida assistant John Andrzejek, source told @TheFieldOf68. Andrzejek is in his second season with Todd Golden and the Gators after four years at Washington State with Kyle Smith. He was also a manager and then the director of basketball operations at Columbia.

The job that Washington State coach Kyle Smith has done is worthy of National Coach of the Year consideration. Lost his top 4 scorers - including TJ Bamba (Villanova) and DJ Rodman (USC). Myles Rice has been phenomenal, Isaac Jones been a huge addition from Idaho and Jaylen Wells (Sonoma State) and Oscar Cluff (Cochise College) quality low-key adds. Smith was 101-82 at Columbia, 63-40 at San Francisco and has Washington State in second place in the Pac-12 this season. Few do more with less.

Washington State hasn't been to the NCAA Tournament since 2008, but that may change this season. Cougars are now 17-6 and have a burgeoning star in Jaylen Wells. Kyle Smith = Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
