If the Jets can make a trade for a vet WR2, this would be a pretty hot start to the draft.

Your little list of late round WRs won’t camouflage your IQ.

@ottobouvier @NYJetsToday_ I would select Reese because of his overall skill set. He’s elite at covering RBs and TEs, and spying QBs. He has incredible strength for a 240 lb defender at the point of attack against the run. The only part of his skill set that is a projection is pass rush.

@NYJetsToday_ Not as hot as taking Love & best pass catcher available at 16. Enough with defenders we trade in 3 years because we can’t score points. It would be MAYBE different if it was Garrett myles or Will Anderson available, but Reese is not that. He’s a projection like Travon walker.

@BoyGreen25 I wouldn’t trade #16 for Thomas, but #33 is a fair trade, in my opinion. Unless they take Simpson at #16 or #33, they should utilize 3 of their first 4 picks on defense and 1 pick on a WR or Sadiq. The Jets were terrible in 2025 because of their QBs and the defense.

@Justin4ocho Geno is a legit NFL QB. Fields was more developmental QB. Geno can play the position. I’m not saying that he will play very well and obviously he’s not the future. But at least they someone that will pass the ball and play the position competently.
