They’re set to make $11 billion off of the World Cup overall. But New Jerseyans should foot a $48 million bill for transportation costs? Not happening.

To Recap: Our Administration inherited an agreement where FIFA contributes $0 toward transportation for the World Cup – while also eliminating parking at MetLife Stadium. Except for premium parking, where FIFA is charging over $200 per spot. As a result, NJ TRANSIT must carry four times the usual ridership for events at the venue, at a cost of $48 million. New Jerseyans shouldn’t be stuck with that bill while FIFA makes $11 billion in profits.

The conversation about who's underrated naturally centers on players, but here's another: Rays broadcaster Brian Anderson is highly underrated. Clearly very prepared, takes viewers inside the game, succinct, direct, tells you exactly what's happening -- good and bad. He should get more attention.

@MV33Racing I don’t understand why you cannot accept he made mistake. He is a phenomenal driver that outperformed the performance of the car last year and made the title race exciting. However, he made a mistake that cost him. Not the title but hindered him.

The change to energy recovery in qualifying this weekend, down to 8MJ from 9MJ, is a good move and a big step in the right direction. It should result in less quali lift and coast and more single lap attack, which we all want to see. It also shows something important. #F1 1/3
