My goalie @TobyMckimm fantastic season is over, he played on with undetected broken wrist for another 38 minutes Wednesday. To miss playoffs is gutting however you’ll be back and more playoffs and promotions you will be part of I’m sure

I remember tuning in on Christmas morning as an 11 year old, and being disappointed not to catch a sight of dad, but he claimed 12 hours work at triple time which came a some consolation to mum and my brother who did well for presents that year. Happy Christmas everyone!

The plane flew at a low altitude of 2,500 ft so the live links would work, and it was dramatically struck by lightning which you would expect to dampen the on-flight festivities for a while, though dad said the kids were so loud throughout you wonder if they even noticed.

40 Christmases ago, my dad Brian, who was a BBC Production Operative, missed the unwrapping of presents and his turkey dinner as he was aboard a 747 flying low over the UK for Noel Edmonds’ Live Live Christmas Breakfast Show which was aired on Christmas Day morning.
