@FailedCrickt Cricket is the lesser technical , smaller field, 9 outfielders vs 3 in baseball, they hit with a 3x bigger bat and bowling takes less skill than pitching. Only game I’ve watched that’s longer than baseball that’s worth overall entertainment wise

People suggesting that athletes may face issues with their birth country should they choose to return; but in my mind it would be in the best interest of any Nat’l Assoc. to not play any such card. In fact this is an opportunity to improve athlete relations going forward.

People just don’t want others to do well, Calling Mark Goldbridge a sell out is pure jealousy. £3.5m upfront + £500k a year to stay the face of united stands, why wouldn’t he take that. You get to secure your family and continue your passion, isn't that a man's ultimate dream?!

@TypicallyJayden I mean I'm not a fan or the target audience for either of them but I feel like KL has more legitimacy lent to it because big clubs and big players have actively engaged into it, whereas here it is very much influencer-led and is struggling to break free from that image

@MichaelSta74381 @KFCBarstool In theory that would work but then it would slow the game down with guys challenging and the ump being like that wasn't far off of enough to challenge after watching the ABS. That would be the issue I would see doing it that way.

@Sm1ttyBets @KFCBarstool I'm not against ABS, but if there's a 0.40-inch margin, somebody will get screwed over. Putting in a margin of error for 1/2 an inch works better than full ABS or no ABS in my opinion

Then the alternative to that would be saying the umpire is 100% correct, which we both know isn't true. If there is no perfect scenario, I'd much rather lean on the technology knowing that it's going to be far more consistent than a human can. As long as the ABS remains consistent for everyone and doesn't screw one guy over and not the others then it's still a positive for the game in my opinion.

At that point they might as well not even have the system. In terms of a strike zone, an inch is huge. If the MLB didn't trust the technology in the first place they wouldn't have implemented the ABS in the first place. If we have technology that can perform surgery precisely and military technology that can land a missile wherever we want, I'm sure those cameras work fine to read balls and strikes.

@Sm1ttyBets @KFCBarstool That margin of error would be however much the persons who developed the technology would be. So if they say it can vary up to an inch then that margin of error would be an inch. So it would have to be in/out by more than an inch or umpire call stays
