Just been to Lidls...1 member of staff, who had to keep leaving his till (only till open) to help the issues on the self service! I thought the idea of S/S was for quickness.. until you hear "unexpected item in the bagging area"! 1 member of staff..

@Footinit Grapes in a glass? That’s my preferred option: grapes , crushed, juice extracted and fermented!

I’m on the train to London and as I moved my foot, my shoe made a sound like a parp. So now I’m moving my foot to replicate the noise so people around me don’t think I’ve parped. It’s not working and they now think I’m a fart bucket who can’t keep still. Happy Tuesday.

@rie14lovett Just been in my local. Four normal tills, two of which were open. (The other two will need dusting before next use! 😉) And of the six self-serve, one was out of use. Wish they’d keep spare parts!
