Well I have taken delivery of mounjaro as I stacked on so much weight I qualified :( I am now too scared to do it (scared of side effects. I don’t want to feel sick or vom or have diarrhoea) 😭 On the other hand my weight is getting out of control.

So many roads closed around the villages. One village is completely cut off which seems poorly orchestrated. I’ve had to abandon my car on a verge and walk 2 miles to client. Thank god it’s cool today. Now I just have to reschedule my client list for the rest of the day.

@scriptwren @jilltowers In my village the high street is closed due to a water main leak. The detour is 3 miles. The water company have dug up the road and buggered off. Meanwhile, more leaks are appearing throughout the village. The roads, basic infrastructure and planning are abysmal.

@Footinit @jilltowers It’s the lack of joined up thinking. The past year has been like planning a raid behind enemy lines just to get to work. All major arteries in and out having works at the same time

@Footinit My village also has a road closure. The diversion is about 6 miles

@jilltowers Various things. Road repairs and hedge cutting has closed this village off from both access points.

Could cry. Phoned GP on the dot of when their lines opened. 26th in queue. Got through finally. All appointments gone. Cannot book me in later in week. Have to try again tomorrow or next day. No guarantee the same won’t happen again. Happened last time too and ended up in A&E.

@Footinit I called them. They told me to ring back tomorrow. No appointments left. I rang as soon as they opened. Honestly this is so annoying, same happened last time when I had BPPV. Ended up going to a walk in centre for the day.
