@hunstantonsmith It was one of my first too. I still love SW. Anthony Daniels’ niece was my best friend and flatmate. His sister lived in my village and AD would visit. He wasn’t terribly friendly.

Client home from 2 day hospital stay. Unusually confused & sleepy. Upon further investigation, I discovered he had 2 transdermal patches instead of 1. That’s fentanyl and buprenorphine. Potent opioids. Each patch lasts up to a week so he’s been massively overdosed. Super.

@samantha_p13503 I have no idea how it happened. I have called the hospital but my client’s wife doesn’t want to pursue the matter. I think that’s a mistake but I understand.

@Footinit Thank goodness you spotted it. I thought opioids had to be signed off by two persons in the hospital and were quite tightly controlled so this is scary that it could happen.

@Footinit Well, I would presume the patch was noted on the patients board. It's a growing trend to dope up elderly patients or even kids, so that those responsible for taking care of them, can get a night off while at work.
