Ever scroll Grok imagine? Kinda memorizing. Like a new art. Then give it your own spin, it’s like magic.

Tesla + SpaceX + xAI building a $20-25B chip mega-factory in Austin for 1 TERAWATT of compute per year. Insanity. We are about to see the evolution and exponential adaption of robotics. Here come the chips for Optimus robots, FSD/EVs, and orbital AI data centers. Vertical integration to escape supplier limits and push galactic scale.

If Apple doesn’t mention anything about supporting personal agentic AI in their next WWDC, it means the industry just lapped them. Again. App developers should focus on conditioning their app for the agentic world via shortcut support and APIs where all possible imo.

This is the best news of 2026 Nvidia is going all in on open models. Something no other American AI company has had the balls to do Open source is the American way. Democratized, equal opportunity for all. Yet China has been dominating on this. No more Here's what this means: Nvidia, will spend BILLIONS on developing models you can run on local devices. Fully private, secure, and free In fact, today they released Nemotron 3, a 120b parameter model with 1 million token context window. Revolutionary. I'm running it on my DGX Spark as we speak You'll be able to fully run frontier level models on your desk, no APIs, no fees, no limits AI agents doing work for you 24/7 This is INCREDIBLE news Up until this point it's been all Chinese models. Now America has entered the race. I FULLY expect Apple to make similar announcements soon You need to prepare for this immediately: 1. Depending on your hardware, download an open source model that's appropriate for it 2. Ask your OpenClaw to do this for you 3. Run it, and use it for small tasks 4. Understand from a deep level how it works 5. Read books to get a deeper understanding of LLMs (I like Deep Learning by John D Kelleher) 6. Start building agents that utilize these open models It cannot be stated enough how incredible this is that Nvidia is entering the open source race America is open source. America is democratized, equal opportunity to success. And now we're finally acting like it 🇺🇸
Will Knight@willknight

Scoop from me: Nvidia will spend a total of $26 billion over the next five years building the world's best open source models. America is back in the open source AI race! wired.com/story/nvidia-i…

OpenClaw gives me those “early big thing” vibes. Like Bitcoin, Tesla, Napster, MySpace, Siri (before bought by Apple), and even Cydia before Apple caught up. With this be something Apple replicates in their routine catch-up fashion? They are already very behind.

@cybrtrkguy It’s not on the chopping block. The more appropriate question is if @Tesla will continue to iterate and refresh the consumer-drivable version as they transition cybertruck into the autonomous future. I sure hope so.

Elon— it would be helpful if you could clear the air around Cybertruck Dual Motor. Tesla just cancelled S/X programs. Suddenly there’s a 10-day doomsday timer on the new Cybertruck. People think Cybertruck is on the chopping block, and buyers are holding off for threat of program cancellation. Is Cybertruck safe? @elonmusk

Highway 44 through Springfield was shut down, forcing traffic south-bound on 65 which became grid-locked. FSD diverted by taking 3 immediate exits that put me back on 44 without ever touching the gridlock. Thought I had to intervene, but just had to trust the process. ETA unchanged.

Make Grok Your Default AI Assistant on iPhone Siri can't answer basic questions and it's the dumbest AI assistant in 2026. Grok is the most advanced AI and can do real-time web searches, human-like voice conversations, and actually helps Just Set "Talk to Grok" as your iPhone Action Button shortcut Press & hold = instant Grok access from anywhere It's a total game-changer.. You can just talk to Grok and Grok does the search and tells you everything you want to know without any restrictions Quick Setup (30 seconds): • Open Settings • Tap Action Button • Swipe to Shortcut • Search "Grok App" • Select "Talk to Grok" ✅ Done Now you can trigger Grok from your Lock Screen or any app instantly Apple restricts third-party voice assistants, but this is the smoothest workaround Update your Grok app for the best experience Try it once. You won't go back

@LinusEkenstam Agree. Personalized automation that leverages interoperability is crucial, & will accelerate with AI. Steve Jobs would have understood this & formed products around it a long time ago. Developers need to focus on interoperability, Apple shortcut support, APIs, etc.

This is what Apple should have done a year ago. But instead Nothing is charging full-steam ahead. If you been following along here, you know that through the last couple of years. I've been talking a lot about self-assembling apps. About how the future of software will look very different from today. We are closing in on that future, at an accelerating speed. It's happening right now. There is no going back. Anything you can imagine, will be made possible, any fringe and super personal app that only you would need. Could and will be built. What happens to software at scale when everyone can make whatever their hearts desires? The future is here right now. This implementation by nothing is so smart. They make sure the apps you build look on point, and they give you the tools (no need to be a techie) You just use plain language and they sort the rest. This is so smooth. I hope others will follow. This is a very mainstream approach. I'm watching this over and over. It's so smart.
Essential@essential

Create apps shaped exactly around your specific needs and context. That's what Essential Apps are. You describe what you need. AI builds it. It appears on your phone's home screen, ready to use. One billion apps for one billion people. Beta starts today on Nothing Playground.

The best part about my dryer isn’t that it is a front loader, or that it is high capacity, or that it can use electric off my solar panels.… It’s because after tearing it apart 10 times to change the heating element over the years, I can now complete the job in 12 minutes 😑. Maytag Maxima

@heyshrutimishra Very intriguing. It will be interesting to see how big tech integrates these capabilities at the os level vs DIY open source options. Interoperability and customization is going to be key since everyone has different needs and workflows.

Prediction: Apple will one day publish an Apple ‘shortcut store’. It will leverage the interoperability of apps mixed with AI. (Something Apple should already have :cough: @tim_cook )

Apple Shortcuts are a huge life-hack. App devs: As Apple catches up in AI, it will be even more. Apple Intelligence’s “Use Model” action (on-device, Private Cloud, or ChatGPT), means that apps with strong App Intents, shortcut inputs/outputs will rule. True AI wins through composable workflows, not isolated chats. Who’s optimizing for this? 🚀

It’s only been 1 year since the Grok app launched
X Freeze@XFreeze

One year ago today, on January 10, the Grok standalone app officially launched 🚀 The progress has been so incredible: • Constant updates, often multiple times per week • Rapid feature rollouts • Explosive downloads worldwide • Highest average time spent among AI apps • Consistently ranked at the top of the Productivity category • Hit #1 in user time spent across AI apps • Tens of millions of Grok app downloads In just one year, Grok has gone from a new launch to one of the most used and engaging AI apps in the world
