Two things surprised me about the Elder calls. The first is that almost nobody asked what they get out of being an Elder. Not one person in 13 calls led with "what's in it for me." Every single person led with some version of "what do you need" or "where do I fit" or "I've been wanting to do this for years." The second is that three separate people, completely independently, identified the exact same problem and offered the exact same solution. I'm not going to say what it was yet. But when three strangers diagnose the same thing without talking to each other, you know you're not guessing at what's broken. You know. The people in this group are not typical NFT holders. They're business owners, finance professionals, advertising executives, foremen, developers, web strategists, creatives. People who ship things in real life and want to ship things here. I went into these calls expecting to convince people. Instead they convinced me that this community has been underestimated for a very long time. 7 more calls. Then we build.

@farmergfm @ThePlagueNFT Just bought a @ThePlagueNFT this morning and I'm already blown away by the warm welcome from the community! So glad to be a part of it 🐸💚 x.com/j_gonfer/statu…
josep.abs@j_gonfer

After stacking some $GRIND, I felt like my journey wasn't complete. I've been a longtime follower of @Pons_ETH and the incredible energy of @ThePlagueNFT community finally convinced me. So happy to officially join and be part of what's being built here! 🐸

If you buy a @ThePlagueNFT, you’re getting in at a crazy low floor price, you get the best community in crypto (I’d guess that about 400 of my followers are frogs), and you get $1 million in $GRIND that unlocks in the next couple months. This was worth $25 a few days ago, worth $67 today and rising. I don’t think there’s a better value play with more upside potential in NFTs right now, especially if you don’t hold one currently. Buy one, tag me, and watch the community work.

We’ve been seeing more and more players in the payments and stablecoins space launch their own blockchains. To me, that’s a clear sign the market sees blockchain as core financial infrastructure — something we’ve believed in and have been building toward on the XRP Ledger for over 13 years. Launching a blockchain is hard. Building an ecosystem with developers, liquidity, trust, and real-world usage is even harder. The XRPL has real traction and institutional adoption because it’s been battle-tested, updated, and improved upon for well over a decade. Some blockchains are built with permissioned validator sets controlled by one entity or a small group. This can provide control and compliance for specific, closed-network scenarios, but it limits reach, resilience, and the ability for anyone to contribute to securing and growing the network. Decentralization vs. centralization is constantly debated and there’s not a single answer that fits every use case for crypto and the concepts themselves have changed in definition over the years. As many of you know, the XRPL is public and permissionless at its core, with optional permissioned features for regulated use cases. This open foundation makes it adaptable, interoperable, and well-positioned to serve as critical infrastructure for the world’s financial system — connecting assets, markets, and participants seamlessly across borders. The XRPL was built so fees stay low and predictable, just fractions of a cent, without a separate gas token. You can pay directly in XRP for any issued asset, avoiding the friction and hidden costs of buying another token just to transact. XRP is counterparty-free, accessible by all, and used as a bridge asset with real utility for payments, settlement, and liquidity. (Every transaction on the XRPL uses/burns XRP.) It’s encouraging to see some newer chains adopt design choices that have long been part of the XRPL’s architecture, like deterministic finality and Proof of Authority-based consensus mechanisms. It shows there’s growing alignment in the industry on the importance of predictable, reliable settlement for financial applications without expensive validation. Looking forward to the next phase of XRPL innovations, bringing more programmability, compliance-grade capabilities, and deeper liquidity for institutional use. And to those just getting started… Welcome to the party! The crypto tent is only getting bigger.

Need some input. I plan on including 20+ NFT communities in the upcoming @GrindTheCoin launch. My plan is to launch it at a very low FDV because launching at a high FDV seems to always have the same outcome. But after seeing people cry on the timeline about the amount they got on the @redactedcoin launch, I am having second thoughts. Because if you claim at the opening FDV you might be able to buy a snickers bar. Key word "might." There will be no way to avoid the armchair CEO's writing threads about how they would have done it better (despite the fact that they have yet to do anything besides write threads) when you launch something... so I am not worried about that. I am just having second thoughts on opening up our launch to the criticism of some of the parasites that do nothing but cry because someone else did not take the time to make them rich while they were "in the trenches" The question. Stay the course and include 20+ communities? or Reduce the communities included dramatically.

The most underrated portion of this post is the reference to Helen Keller. It actually bolsters my faith a bit. If you know Helen’s story and you know Pons (and the Plagues) story over the last several years…..you will love the easy to find parallels. Hint….the struggle is real….the legacy…it remains. Nice subtle inclusion @Pons_ETH. I’m here for it.

Dear @frankdegods , I like you because you are a hustler & not afraid to fail But you have a lack of self-awareness I think it was caused by people that tricked you into believing you were a visionary like Steve Jobs, when in reality your vision has been like Stevie Wonder Now, I am completely aware, that if you are Stevie Wonder, then I am Hellen Keller. By all the metrics we use in the NFT space, you project(s) have been infinitely more successful than mine. Hell, you basically quit DeGods a year ago and their floor price is still higher than the Frogs. That being said, I know you are tired of the 1,000 word threads hating on Frank. I think we have seen each other move long enough in this space that you know I avoid this kind of drama. I have thought about whether or not to send this post for weeks now… I probably should not be sending it. But after spending a couple of days at NFT Paris with a bunch of people truly trying to push this space forward, I would be failing myself and my industry peers by staying quiet. ----------------------------- These two posts (screenshots) coupled with your continual perpetuation of this myth that “Frank is always right” encapsulate my issue with you. Post 1: You say -- “People blame everyone but themselves.” Post 2 summarized: --- You push all the blame on the communities for the failures of the DeGods “experiments” Every time you are attacked or called out, you blame someone or something else. Or you take to sarcasm on the timeline. But on the rare occasions you are right, you chalk it up to your genius. You can’t have it both ways. Listen, Frank: 1⃣ You have tremendous influence. That is in-fact your edge. 2⃣ You are a spectacular attention marketer. That is in-fact your skill. 3⃣ You are very smart, and you do see trends early. 4⃣ You are charismatic and quick witted. Those four things have gotten you to where you are today. They are what caused 1,000’s of people on the internet to rally around you and lift you up as their leader. Maybe you did not want that responsibility. Maybe you like the idea of being a leader, but don’t like the practice of being one. Maybe you just cracked under the pressure. Whatever the reason is for your latest turn, I hope you rethink your strategy and your role. If you just want to be a memecoin trader. Then do that. But do it with an undoxxed wallet, and don’t live-stream your trades. These things, coupled with the fact that -- because you have influence -- you have access to information others don’t have are your "edge". Think I am wrong? Record your trades on undoxxed wallets. Then livestream with the recording to prove your skill. That would eliminate most of the questions. As for NFTs, you are right. As it relates to being a speculative windfall, they are cooked. They won’t be what they were in 2021. But NFTs have the potential to create real opportunity for people around the globe. Opportunity that can change peoples lives. The Frogs have had a fraction of the success of DeGods, but we have been able to make a positive impact in many people’s lives. Imagine what you could do if you decided to use DeGods as a positive force for the industry. Focus less on the speculation, and more on the innovation. Assuming you don’t block me. I would be happy to help for free. You know how to get ahold of me. Sincerely, Pons

OP doesn’t deserve engagement for this reta*ded post. One of the single most important decisions you make in your life is your spouse, but love is not a reward for success, and if you find them before you become successful even better. Guessing this person doesn’t have a wife, and isn’t successful anyway based on this corny shit.
