Really enjoyed giving my first ever(!!) conference paper this morning as part of a disability history panel at @SSHMedicine #SSHM2024. My paper was based on an article co-authored with @coreen_anne about polio survivors, reading technologies and cognitive diversities.

I am delighted to share that I successfully passed my viva on 4 June. I am grateful to my supervisors Prof. Hannah Brown and Prof. Cherry Leonardi for their unwavering support and guidance. I also had the privilege of being briefly supervised by @NakaMookherjee

Really good list of resources and approaches here. Like all the best guides, it's written for a specific audience (here, independent researchers), but will be useful more generally. The section on shadow libraries at the bottom is well-judged and particularly worth noting.
