Most black people will defend ANYTHING black. That’s the lesson of the Shedeur saga we just watched. It doesn’t matter how bad the behavior is, or how arrogant, brash or self-centered he is. It doesn’t matter that he tanked all of the interviews with teams and acted as though he was the one choosing them instead of vice versa. It doesn’t matter that he’s a QB behaving like a diva WR. Most black folks don’t care about any of that. They embrace all of the bad behavior and label it all “black culture” and call you a racist for not liking the behavior. They say “white america just can’t handle a confident black man” ignoring the fact that 70% of the NFL and the vast majority of the first round that was just drafted, including the first overall pick, are “confident black men” and most people like all of them just fine. It’s all absurd. When they call you racist, laugh in their face like they deserve.

Someone just texted me this message and they are absolutely correct: “This is a bad look for the NFL. This feels like Kaepernick-level collusion.” All the hard work the NFL League Office puts in to eradicate these kinds of perceptions, only to turn around and watch as the OWNERS look like they’re colluding, messing up everything. @kct2020 I would say RB but none of the backs left fits Ben Johnson’s system, Jeanty and Hampton were the only power backs who fit what they do. All the other guys are speed guys and they already have that in Swift. So I would go saftey or DL

Who or which positions are you hoping the Bears will pick at 39/41? Personally, I’m hoping for a RB & EDGE. I wouldn’t be mad if they snagged a Safety either. All 4 safeties on the roster have contracts up at the end of 2025. And with Brisker’s health history, I worry about his durability & don’t believe they will extend him. So it might make sense for DA to select a S that best fits his scheme.

@RapSheet It was a bad pick. They picked a guy with a career high of 600 yards over a TE that transformed the offense he was in and got 1200 Yards as a college tight end. Just madness.

Every year, there is a player who gets really hot really late, one that teams are scrambling to trade up for. Last night, that player was #Michigan TE Colston Loveland. When the #Bears picked him at No. 10, the calls in the early teens quieted. There wasn't a trade until 25.
