@MonteSyrie Truth! I have “that kid” who has struggled to fit the mold since middle school. I’ve helplessly watched them struggle knowing it’s the industrial model/status quo, not my kid. I drafted many emails I didn’t send. My “moldless” kid has made me a better educator and a #proudmomma

Time again and again and again I have seen “that kid” from school become a well-adjusted, productive adult. Such a flimsy fiction we build from our narrow narrative about success. That kid. Kid. Not adult. Kids will find their fit, even if they fail the mold. 🖕the mold.
