To see Lowry lecture the electorate on what is or is not acceptable, undercover of @fiannafailparty and @FineGael, is truly galling. Nove of them have an ounce of honour.

Mary Lou hammered consistently by Sharon Tobin on SixOne News yesterday. Michael Healy Rae fawned over by Sharon Tobin on SixOne News today for saying the same thing. Don’t tell me there isn’t a specific editorial line in RTE regarding SF.

Surely the Minister’s sister should recuse herself, tonight or all nights. And they wonder why trust in RTÉ has collapsed. #HowIrelandWorks #NoConfidenceGov

The fact that Healy-Rae resigned his minister of state position will tell you the hell he must be getting from his constituents. He didn’t resign out of principle, he did it because he feared the consequences for his seat if he didn’t. Must be a lot of very nervous FFFG TD’s now.

@MichelleHarty10 @HarrachtainO He's in my LEA and I would find it hard to get past the conviction personally but I may be in a minority there as he does appear to be popular. Councillor and TD are diffeent bars though

@NiceGuyEddiek @HarrachtainO I absolutely agree Eddie but surely jackie as a Councillor will want his fathers seat and the conviction didn't stop young jackie being elected . Agree About Maura too just my gut tells me johnny but I could be wrong. Sucession can be very tricky.

@MichelleHarty10 @HarrachtainO Young Jackie's conviction is a huge hurdle even in Kerry , maybe time will erode that but not sure. Same as you it's pure guesswork, just think Maura has a bit more potential. Either would have a good shot though.

@Sam19664410 @HarrachtainO Yep I saw that but I feel the comments on his Facebook page may have provided food for thought.real anger was being expressed against the healy rae franchise.

@HarrachtainO @MichelleHarty10 Yet he released a video 2 days ago praising himself and saying he was voting confidence in govt. Something serious must have happened in the past 48 hours. The backbenchers must be thick as when this govt falls( after Christmas, I reckon) they will get hammered. We won't forget.

@NiceGuyEddiek @HarrachtainO I do. Not based on evidence just a strong hunch with young jackie taking over from michael eventually . There's a bit of am age difference between michael and Danny so that might not be for a while. What do u think?

@HarrachtainO You're on the money - given his age, this may be Danny's last term either way. Next gen planning is the #1 item on the HR agenda I'm sure.

@NiceGuyEddiek Oh I agree he’d have most likely held his own seat, but he has a whole ecosystem dependent on his large majority, not least Danny (who may well have lost his) and all the other assorted offspring & nephews/nieces who are not as secure as he is.

@caulmick The Healy Raes were in big enough trouble down here if they voted for the government. They had to be seen to do something to stifle the rumblings of discontent. Their own people were turning on them.

Independent Deputy Danny Healy-Rae is urging Fianna Fáil members to consider replacing Taoiseach Micheál Martin in the wake of his handling of the national fuel protests as he claims he ‘won’t listen to anyone’. His strong comments come as government-aligned TDs face increasing pressure from the public for failing to resolve the fuel issue sooner. #NoConfidenceGOV #FFG #HealyRaes #WorstGovernmentEver independent.ie/regionals/kerr…

@DarraghOBrienTD you might want to look at your leader before you accuse others of being misogynistic. Martin is regularly losing it with female SF tds in the dail while making sure the 2 or 3 female tds in FF sit behind him.

With the Ceann Comhairle watching on. The first to benefit from the grubby Lowry deal. People like @BarryHeneghan2 in my constituency who told voters, he would be an 'Independent voice who would be free from party restrictions. But the reality is, he and the rest of the #LowryLackeys take their orders from Fine Gael & Fianna Fáil. And your still giving the two-fingers to people. @DMitchellTD #NoConfidenceGov #Dail #HowIrelandWorks
