On this day in 1960, Dennis Viollet struck a @ManUtd club record when he scored his 32nd league goal of the season.
Still stands as a record - United have had some wonderful strikers before and since, but that record is still held by Dennis, a world class forward himself.

@_JessConnell I’m reading this very good, unusual, overview of the assassination. Ford pops up on page 136. Did you know that the captions to the colour still frames of the Zapruder film published in Life magazine on 6th October 1964 were written by Gerald Ford? A curious assignment for Ford?

PLEADED GUILTY. - Spared jail Hope not Hate former Political Organiser Liron Velleman previously pleaded guilty to two charges, one of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and another of attempting to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to look at an image of sexual activity. Velleman sent online messages asking to see the girl in her school uniform, how old she was and if she was at home alone. He sent a video of his penis and asked to see her in her underwear.

@miles_commodore Totally agree. I went to the cinema to see Midwinter Break with high expectations but walked out after twenty minutes. Dull, wooden and poorly scripted. But it was the fake Northern Ireland accents that did it. Why do they still do this? Very disappointing.
