Small sample..... But if this continues over the course of the season, the Mets need to identify what they're doing that causes good hitters to consistently underperform the back of their baseball card. Is it analytics? Philosophy? They have to identify it and fix it.

The official @Equibase Kentucky Derby chart has Golden Tempo losing ground on the leaders from the 1/4 to the 1/8 pole. That obviously didn’t happen (he made up about 3 lengths in that furlong). Why collect GPS data if you’re not going to use it to make the charts more accurate?

Yesterday was the most watched Kentucky Derby of all time…19.6 million for telecast and 24.4 million for actual race It was higher rated than basically every sporting event besides the NFL and College Football title game It’s crazy how much the Derby continues to grow

Based on expectations, track record and $42 mil salary, gotta say Bichette has been the most disappointing Met. Plenty of candidates but Bichette was supposed to be RISP savant. Delivered once tonight but failed in 7th, then 10th-inning DP was Mets last gasp. Hitting .194 w/RISP.
