Not being nosy, I actually need your help. How much are you spending on AI tools for personal projects outside of work? I welcome exact numbers in the comments or DMs 🙏🏽

Deep reading stretches your brain in ways scrolling never will. One rewires attention, the other erodes it.

“the truth doesn’t change according to our ability to stomach it” Just because something is difficult to accept, doesn’t mean we should avoid it. This applies to many areas in life - growth begins where denial ends.

If you never let yourself get bored, your mind never gets the chance to wander far enough to figure out what it really thinks. The moments you try to cram full are often the ones that could’ve given you clarity, perspective, or even sparked a new idea.

Got upgraded on my flight to NYC this morning and everyone in 1st class was building AI. I looked back at the rest of the plane - everyone was getting replaced by AI. Was just a very interesting observation.

Everyone thinks founders should be pushing harder. Push the team. Push the product. Push the market. But sometimes the real work is learning when to pause. To listen. To create safety—so people can rise without being forced.

Your nervous system wasn’t designed for this level of input. Hundreds of messages. Constant feedback. Infinite scrolling. No wonder we struggle to hear our own thoughts. Sometimes the wisest thing you can do is turn the volume down.
