👏On this Earth Day, we had the 3rd session of MicroMundo where we observed the cultural growth of our soils - we performed antibiosis assay and are looking forward to the results! 🦠 @Cespu_Ensino @TOXRUNIUCS

📌Today we had the 2nd session where we processed the soil samples collected by the students of the EBS Cristelo TEIP School! So good to see so much enthusiasm, with some of the 9th graders' eyes shining and showing great interest in science! @Cespu_Ensino @TOXRUNIUCS

👏Yesterday we had the 3rd session of Team 2 at the EBS Cristelo TEIP School! We recorded the biodiversity found in soils collected by the school students and tested several colonies through an antibiosis assay against clinically relevant bacteria! @Cespu_Ensino @TOXRUNIUCS

Session 2 of the @MicroMundo_IUCS for the first team acting in the 12th grade of the EBS Cristelo TEIP School is done! We processed soils from different locations and we're looking forward to exploring the biodiversity we're going to find, stay tunned! @Cespu_Ensino @TOXRUNIUCS

Micromundo aimed to spread knowledge in the area of microbiology to school students, while forming ties between MicriTAs and MicriCEs. Having reached the end of the session 4, we would like to thank all the students for their collaboration, and especially professora Cátia Santos!

✨✨✨ 3rd session at Cristelo high school - another mission accomplished for the team of our 6 Micritas🫡! Soil samples with a lot of diversity of colonies 🧫 that were tested today - will we be able to find bacteria with antimicrobial activity? We'll find out next week 🤞...!

The second session of MicroMundo 🌍 was held last Thursday where the samples were processed, which led the students to contact some laboratory techniques 🔬 for the first time and successfully execute them!!😇
