It has come back in a bit, so $NLOP looking very attractive here again. $22m net cash end of Q1 with $23m of rent left, about a $150m EV. My estimates for remaining asset value still get me to around $15/share NAV:

@leevalueroach @e_pap4 Late to the conversation, but when you say "yet," does that mean they've indicated they're going to sell the land in the future? Also, if they plan to sell the land, how do the subsequent carbon credit reimbursements factor into your valuation estimate?

Not yet, got more info on this in the article but, their carbon credits revenues took a hit. Without those credits making money this company just kind of has a bunch of land it doesn't use sitting around and doing nothing. Would probably be better sold off, in the mean time this company does make money through their various revenue streams.

Just dropped another article. Key Points A GAAP NAV of $22.9 million. They own and manage approximately 73,000 acres in Tennessee located in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, and Roane Counties. This land is used for timber, gas and oil development, as well camping, and off-roading. The company owns the largest privately-owned Off Highway Vehicle park in the United States Land and Land Improvements are only valued at $10.5 million for 73,000 acres of land. That works out to just $143 per acre! This company is currently priced at $500.99 per share. Low balling the land as pure timber at an estimated price of $2k an acre gives us a land value of $146 million and a NAV per share of $1,698. Timberland in that area regularly sells well north of $4k an acre which would give us a land value of $292 million and a NAV of $3,263 per share. Property with oil and gas resources are going to be worth more than this. Ultra-low share count of 93,298 shares outstanding. Link to my Substack in my bio!

Political debates set policy which in turn does things like radicalize various groups to commit acts like 9/11. 9/11 didn’t just happen in a vacuum or randomly. Politics matters, a lot. Successful politics and statecraft means you don’t need heroes because you avoid things like 9/11 happening.

$PROM Propel Media, a ~$100M EV microcap that has a browser extension/advertising business with a valuable fast-growing pharma/healthcare-focused DSP (DeepIntent) subsidiary has done more 5x more trading volume in the last ~month than in the prior year before that.

One conclusion is one or multiple people got a hold of the 2020 financials, question is what do they show? Maybe DeepIntent is doing even better than the 3x annual growth it's done in the last couple years? They've basically doubled headcount over the last 12 months.
