NEWS: The NCAA was initially tipped off to Brendan Sorsby's gambling by an online sportsbook, after the sportsbook had been informed by law enforcement, according to court docs filed Friday in Sorsby's lawsuit vs the NCAA.

@SethDavisHoops These are mostly public institutions using taxpayer resources to get where they are. Yeah, a lot of the expenses are privately fundraised, but they couldn't be in those positions without tax dollars. That's not why people fund schools.

I’m open to 3CDC criticism but this has to be the dumbest possible take. The revitalization of Washington Park into one of the best urban parks in the country is nothing short of a miracle. If that’s what 3CDC is going to do sign me up for more bad pop music!

I like Tillery and Jizzle a lot. McKinley has some upside too. But must speak to the connection some of these players had to Wes Miller. In this era, to get three players to follow you to a different school at a lower level? Pretty unheard of.

New Charlotte head coach Wes Miller picks up 6-9 forward Tyler McKinley today. Miller now has brought Jizzle James and Keyshuan Tillery with him from Cincinnati - two guys that would have started in the backcourt for the Bearcats this season - along with McKinley. I'd expect the 49ers to be damn good this season in the American.
