Wes Miller is eager to get involved in this year's carousel, a source told me earlier this week. Coincidentally enough, the school he left to take the Cincy job (UNCG) happens to be open. Miller's résumé suggests he'll get a real shot in the coming weeks.

BREAKING—Cincinnati is Wes Miller, source tells @CBSSports. Plan is for the formal separation to go official on April 1, when Miller's buyout substantially drops from $9.9 million to $4.7 million. Utah State coach Jerrod Calhoun will be the presumed frontrunner at UC.

@ChickLudwig Travis is enjoying the MAC. In the Big East he made terrible in-game decisions, just like Miller. And his players seemed to regress in talent, versus develop. I think it would be another swing and miss. Mick just isn't a likable guy, which you need to be at this level.

Another thing I noticed with the new glass court at the Big 12 Tournament... look at the stark difference in color/saturation between this year (left) and last year (right). At least last the traditional court popped and had a nice shine to it. The glass court is dull with muted colors.
