@SebC__ No clue on the player. Its the pattern that worries me. United being run by mostly ex-City staff and consistently target ex-City youth has dangerous implications for future of the club. We already had Vivell signing Sesko, and had to deal with Ten Hag/SEG too.

Along with hiring plenty of ex-City staff and making Delap a prime target, we are now targeting another ex-City player who Wilcox already brought to Southampton. @SebC__ gonna have a field day with this if we sign him. Very weird/dodgy.

Wasn't hugely impressed with United. Good ability on transition but felt like that was their main threat, enabled in part by being physically fresher. Losing that advantage next ssn, can't see how their style scales for title-winning form. Recruitment/gaffa dependent obviously.

Mainoo in his interview today discussing how all the United players are willing to die on the pitch for Carrick just goes to show how imperative raising the mentality of the team is for a new coach in his phase 1. I came to this conclusion in the past 2yrs watching coaches in Italy.
