@Notion4Ts Thanks for sharing bro! Pretty dope that you got to experience your break in Bali. Can’t wait to visit that city.

Finally back from my trip to Bali! 🌴
Definitely will go back there in the future or just flat-out live there. Beautiful place and a big digital creator community there as well 🤓
I decided to schedule all of my tweets and use X as little as possible.
Here are the results:
--------------------
⚫Twitter (X)
--------------------
In terms of Twitter (X) engagement and follows, it was not that great. Which makes sense...
I was tweeting random quotes and plugging my products which is generally not great for engagement.
🔑KEY TAKEAWAY:
Scheduling posts I think make sense if you plan and write out thoughtful and useful content.
Otherwise, I find posting my thoughts and findings throughout the day is much better for engagement.
👍
--------------------
🟣Gumroad $$
--------------------
Gumroad revenue was actually really great, and one of my best weeks at $1052.
None of this was from my Twitter posts and only from finding my products organically (most likely through the Notion Template Gallery).
🔑KEY TAKEAWAY:
The systems you create for yourself do compound after putting in the work.
I spent a whole year creating a list of solid products for teachers that are not only super-functional but aesthetic and pleasing to use.
On top of that, I think I have a good balance of providing high-quality FREE products with a few solid paid products...
This leads to a lot of free downloads each day with some paid downloads.
👍
--------------------
🟠Etsy $$
--------------------
Etsy did about ~$150 in profit at a 1.7 ROAS which, to be honest, I'm fine with.
I barely touch Etsy now and just leave the ads running.
It's profitable and the ROAS is slowly increasing. I will try to optimize my Etsy store a little later.
🔑KEY TAKEAWAY:
Similar to what I mentioned above about building the right systems.
The Ultimate Teacher Planner probably took me a combined 100+ hours with the template design, video tutorials, and product mockups...
That doesn't include the days it took to fill out the store, figure out banner images, how ads work, and a whole lot of other small things.
You may see creators post their $$ wins on X, but just bear in mind these wins take weeks, months, or even years to create the systems that facilitate these wins.
👍

🟢Recap
--------------------
Trip to Bali (August 11th - August 20th)
Total Revenue: $1409 ✅
X Followers: +30 😅
Memories: ∞ ♥
🔑
- Meaningful, valuable content always wins
- Spend time building systems that work for you
Thank you for reading :)

@marlenekonu Congratulations Marlene!
That’s was an amazing launch!
Should get in your DM or even on a call for some tips 😂😂😂
English

@Notion4Ts Honestly I feel like that’s pretty weird & scammy as well. It’s clearly started that it’s a Notion template.
Anyways, it’s what it’s.

Go support @marlenekonu on Product Hunt y’all.
She never fails to deliver 🔥

@JustSoHarsh @ModestMitkus This makes so much sense!
Learnt this from the $100M offer. You gotta give give give and expect nothing in return! Like nothing in return!
English

@ModestMitkus There are many objections to giving value for free:
- But I need to put food on the table
- But I want to make money now
Giving value for free is a game of patience. Your goal is to stockpile goodwill and be patient for an eventual payday. "Selling" now cuts your wins.

@Mideenotion You are more than welcome, still just do what usually do, knowing this makes it easier to survive 👌
English

@Mideenotion That's a great way to start off the month!
I am pretty sure, with the right amount of time and effort, you can make it take off to new heights 🚀!
English

@NixisWorld That makes perfect sense!
Yeah I guess this should be the season to just build and build and then prepare for a high season for demands! Hmm.
Thanks for sharing
English

@Mideenotion Because in August, is the high season for vacations, and people are really not buying anything other than ice cream 🤣
Besides, they are not on the pc and on social media, like at all.
So its best to build and try to survive it. (my honest opinion)
English

@NixisWorld Oh really? Why do you think engagement & sales are meant to go down?
English

@Mideenotion There we go, Its August and the engagement + Sales are expected to go down...
If you survive this month, you can survive anything brother!
