I just got approved by Apple SMB. It took me 2 weeks to get approved. Now I will pay 15% instead of 30% to Apple. It's still not perfect as it's not 0%, but a good start! 😂

Indie hackers don’t collect birth date and address. Why not reach out to Stripe then to remove data as well? XD . I can give you your name, surname, birthdate and maybe even address all from public records that people do post online either way. It took me just 1-2min to get all this data. As I said before, I still don't understand this delete my account even tho people do share public data themselves. Also your data will be mostly leaked from big companies not indie hackers projects... most of them dont even collect anything important either way.

@ModestMitkus @lassvestergaard @marclou Simple: Let's say that to use a service I needed to provide my name, surname, birth date, address, ... I don't need the service anymore, therefore I want them all deleted, to protect myself from a leak, marketing, etc

If you don’t want to use a service anymore, you are entitled to request the service deletes all your data aka deletes your account. The service is not entitled to store your personal data (name, email…) as they please

I just learned that you can slice your iOS app fees in half. Instead of paying Apple 30%, you can pay only 15% by filling out one form. They default you to the 30% rate (and you're a few clicks away from -15%) 😂 I'm mad and happy at the same time.

I filmed my vibe-coding journey from $0 → $60,000+/month From doubts and struggles to happy moments. I started filming it in December 2024. A lot of raw thoughts, no filters. Should I do it as a single long video or five separate videos?

@ModestMitkus Five separate videos. Each one is a content piece on its own, better for reach, easier to share, and you can repurpose clips. A single long video is one shot at attention. Five videos is five.
