@oelma__ Drain the beans, add salt, a little citrus, and some melted fat (butter, ghee, tallow), and if you like a little bacon- then briefly sear them in the fat in a pan. You won't have anyone leaving leftovers

@a_relic_keeper @WeaponOutfitter Brand name-ism does go on, but at a certain price point you simplyl can't get something that's been QCed enough to be reliable & you're trusting the manufacturing process to be bulletproof. Unless you know a lot about manufacturing, id stick with $300 minimum optics

Some initial thoughts on the HK MR556 A4 SBR: 🔹Brutally expensive. 🔹This is an extremely accurate 1/2 MOA rifle. 🔹Short stroke gas piston system is sublime. Even in the normal setting had zero issues cycling everything when suppressed. 🔹The updated handguard is chef's kiss good and sooo easy to remove. 🔹Comes with a soft shell case (not a garbage one). 🔹Is this rifle 2X as good as a Geissele or BCM? No, no it is not. However it is easily better than what LMT, Noveske, KAC, Sig are producing for full ambi M4 type carbines. 🔹In my opinion if you don't care about cost this is the best carbine you can currently get.

With all the crazy news lately it would be easy to miss the fact that the Trump DOJ/ATF just filed a document in court last week using flowery lawyer language to say "we still think guns with pistol braces on them are legally SBRs and we will prosecute Americans who own them and put them in prison for 10 years per offense." Yes, I know they lost the "brace rule" legal battle and I've made multiple videos on it since 2023 but that doesn't seem to be a concern to them. You can't make it up. Builder had house listed for $469k in summer. Then listed for rent at $2.9k. then cut rent to $2.4k. Then sold it to rent-to-own company, who is now selling a 50% ownership share for $245,000. Based on a "retail price of $490,000". When you see stuff like this, you know something bad is about to happen in the housing market.
